Only use inks and cleaners manufactured by Matthews
Matthews inks
are manufactured, quality tested, and proven to be compatible with our
printers. Past history has shown that aftermarket inks cause damage to
the printers and increase system downtime. For the best, most cost-efficient
performance, use only Matthews certified inks and cleaners.
Do not allow unqualified personnel to attempt repairs
on your Matthews High Resolution printheads
We highly recommend that you return all High Resolution
printheads to our facility for professional repair. These printheads are
unique and require specialized equipment to properly repair them. Attempting
to repair printheads without proper equipment and training will often
result in unacceptable printing performance. Correcting this situation
will then require professional repair by Matthews at elevated costs.

Clean your printheads regularly
The Matthews High Resolution printheads require cleaning
once a shift or at every shutdown. Always use lint-free cloths (Matthews
part no. P0070-576-00) and the appropriate Matthews cleaner. A daily routine
of cleaning the printheads will allow our printers to exhibit peak performance
day in and day out.
