Only use inks and cleaners manufactured by Matthews

Matthews inks are manufactured, quality tested, and proven to be compatible with our printers. Past history has shown that aftermarket inks cause damage to the printers and increase system downtime. For the best, most cost-efficient performance, use only Matthews certified inks and cleaners.

Do not allow unqualified personnel to attempt repairs on your Jet-A-Mark Ink-Jet Printheads

We highly recommend that you return all Jet-A-Mark printheads to our facility for professional repair. These printheads are unique and require specialized equipment to properly repair them. For users who insist on on-site printhead repair, we also have field service technicians available to perform the work. Attempting to repair printheads without specialized equipment and training will often result in unacceptable printing performance. Correcting this situation will then require a professional repair by Matthews, usually at elevated costs due to the improper repair.

Clean your printheads regularly

The nozzles on Matthews DOD printheads require cleaning once a shift with a soft bristle brush and proper Matthews cleaner. A daily routine of cleaning the printheads and tracking ink usage to ensure proper filter changes will allow our printers to exhibit peak performance day in and day out.
