Only use inks and cleaners manufactured by Matthews
Matthews inks are manufactured, quality tested, and proven to be compatible with our
printers. Past history has shown that aftermarket inks cause damage to
the printers and increase system downtime. For the best, most cost-efficient
performance, use only Matthews certified inks and cleaners.
To prevent CIJ nozzle clogs, always allow the printer to do its "Flush Shutdown"
All I-Mark C84 continuous ink-jet printers have an automatic flush function. This
function will stop the jet, evacuate the nozzle of ink, and introduce
a stream solvent through the nozzle. It will then evacuate all of the
ink lines and then prompt the user to switch the unit off. Failing to
allow the printer to do this will result in an "Incomplete Shutdown"
and cause clogged nozzles. Consult the Product User Manual for details.
