Roll
Marking
Indent-A-Mark Roll Markers are used in applications
where larger characters, longer legends and greater marking force are required.
With the proper tooling, roll marking is used to mark on metal products
with flat, concave, convex, recessed, round, cylindrical and conical surfaces.
During the
marking cycle, a ram travels vertically downward, then across the part
to be indented. Each indented character is formed one at a time. A flat
die with a dove tail holder is used to mark around the circumference of
round parts and a roller die is used to indent on flat parts.
