High Resolution InkJet Printing
 High-end, non-contact printers offer superior resolution and may eliminate the need for labels entirely. Matthews new high-end, ink-jet printers, feature the deluxe model, IP7000, which can print up to 32 lines of text (7 dots/line), logos, scannable bar codes and other symbols at 200 dpi horizontal/187 dpi vertical, operating at speeds up to 1.4 m (4.6 ft)/sec.
 Designed to print on all types of porous packaging material. The IP7000 has a minimum print height of 2 mm and maximum print height of 100 mm (3.94”) per printhead – one of the highest in the industry. Thanks to a re-circulating auto prime feature, the IP7000 consumes 35% less ink than competing printers. This feature also eliminates the need for messy daily maintenance and use of solvents.
Additional models include the new LC2, for high definition printing, at a more sensible price. This light model, provides high resolution printing of alphanumeric text and logos—with a lower, overall operating cost, providing several million characters printed from a single bottle of ink. The HX64 is ideal for traypack and secondary case coding applications.
