DOD inkjet stands out as probably the most durable inkjet printing technology. Each printhead contains several individual valves (usually 7, 16, or 32) that print dots at regular intervals. Printheads

The newest lines of Matthews DOD printheads form two basic groups: "Standard Series" and "8000 Series". Standard Series printheads produce a lower resolution mark that usually covers a larger surface area. A typical Standard Series mark might appear as shown to the right. Controllers
Matthews offers several different controllers capable of driving these printheads. Printing applications sometimes include complicating factors, such as the need to print on both sides the product, graphics and logos, large images that require multiple printheads, and many others. Our range of controllers allows you to produce the mark you need as economically as possible... whether your application is simple or complex. Ink Supply Systems
Each Drop-On-Demand® inkjet printer requires two fluid supplies: one for ink, and one for cleaner. Systems with 64 print valves or fewer can select a small, self-contained Ink Module that handles both. Larger systems (up to 128 valves) use the Large Capacity Ink System.
