Contact Printing
Contact Printing technologies mark using either a roller or reciprocating print head. In most cases, ink from a roller marks the product, but in some cases the roller or print head is heated and marks by indenting slightly into the product surface. Contact Printing marks a
variety of substrates including steel, plastics, rubber, metals, glass
and much more.
 |
Using a wide variety of
lead-free pigmented inks, Offset Printers provide superior
high-quality printing of logos, product names, sequential numbers
and more on just about any type of substrate. Offset Printers provide both high speed operation and the highest quality industrial contact printing. |
 |
Simpler than Offset Printers in construction, Direct Printers are lightweight and rugged units. These printers roll a rubber die (containing your logo or message) continuously over the product surface and are capable of speeds equal to Offset Printers. |
 |
Reciprocating Coders have coding heads that move up and down on demand to print
logos, product codes, expiration dates, prices, etc. on various types of containers. The wide array of inks available for these
coders allow them to mark on a variety of substrates, including plastic, metal, glass,
rubber and paper. |
 |
Hot Print Branders function by rolling a heated print head over the product. The print head holds steel type that contains your message or logo. The print head marks in two ways, first by the heated steel type indenting slightly into the product surface, and second by applying color from an optional foil tape that continuously feeds through the printer. Hot Print Branders create a crisp, highly permanent indented mark that
is ideal for plastic pipe and other in-line extrusions. |
