Regulatory Compliance Marking
Compliance marks are
marks required as a condition to sell or distribute the product. This requirement usually originates from
outside a company. Typical outside sources include the government, associations
and vendor specifications. Sometimes these marks seem involuntary, especially
when marking requirements are very specific in regard to placement and
technology. They are however, essential for maintaining industry or distribution
standards.
