BEST VALUE CONTINUOUS INK-JET PRINTER AT NPE2009
Pittsburgh, PA, June 22, 2009 – Matthews Marking Products is introducing the CX16, an economical new continuous ink-jet (CIJ) printer for small character coding. The company will demonstrate the CX16 at NPE in booth #S8037 at Chicago’s McCormick Place June 22-26.
“We believe the CX16 has the lowest price of any commercial CIJ on the market,” said Trace Bocan, Matthews Marketing Manager. “And with this printer’s functionality, the CX16 offers the best value in CIJ.” The CX16 is capable of printing up to two lines of small characters, within a height range of .07 in. - .59 in (1.8 mm – 15 mm high) on surfaces including wax-coated cartons, plastics or metals. The printer is ideally suited for date coding on food and beverage packages or lot coding for pharmaceutical and cosmetics/personal care packaging on high speed production lines.
The printer features a built-in pump (no external shop air required), automatic ink viscosity diagnostics for consistent high-quality printing, convenient top-mount fill caps for adding ink quickly and a rugged stainless steel enclosure. The CX16 is easy to maintain and no tools are required to access and clean the printhead.
