Pittsburgh, PA, May 4, 2007 – Matthews Marking Products has just introduced the SCP-900 Series of inks for use with existing Drop-on-Demand ink-jet systems. Formulated to meet the increasing concerns of eco-friendly processes, these inks contain no VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) and enable good adhesion performance, strong UV stability, and durable abrasion resistance.
Available colors include red, blue, green, black, and white. Dry time for these inks average between 1 and 3 seconds, depending on the substrate and the boldness of the mark. The SCP-900 series of inks has been developed to work with Matthews’ DOD 8000 Series and Standard Valve Ink-Jet Printheads.
