Flow-Jet, Large Capacity Pigmented Ink Supply System

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, November 3, 2002, -- Flow-Jet, a new large capacity, pigmented ink supply system for Jet-A-Mark DOD and S.C.I. F.I. 3200 ink jet printers has been introduced by Matthews International, Marking Products Division.

The new, pigmented ink system is designed to provide high contrast, permanent marks on products manufactured in the plastic, rubber, steel, wood, and building products industries. Flow-Jet's unique re-circulating "through-the-printhead" process provides low maintenance and low reliability. A supply changeover feature permits continuous production eliminating the need to stop printing while changing ink.

Some notable features of this pigmented inking system include the ability to accommodate large ink amounts-up to 5 gallon pails, low ink level and out of ink warning light communications. The Flow-Jet also provides wall and table mountingoptions, long open times, and safeguards such as automatic system shutoff-when ink runs out.
