The single color Direct Printer series is now available for marking varying widths from 3" to 12" (7.5 to 31 cm.). The Direct Printer uses Matthews manufactured precision-molded rubber printing plates and high contrast inks for printing on porous and non-porous materials. The rugged, lightweight unit is commonly driven by frictional contact with the material to provide continuous printing at speeds up to 600 feet per minute. If mark registration is required, precision control and servo motor drive packages are available. Built to European Conformity (CE) standards, the unit is easy to install, operate and maintain, with few adjustments and no complicated programming.

The 24" circumference type wheel accommodates a variety of character styles and sizes, with marking areas widths of 3", 6", and 12" inches (7.7 cm., 15 cm., and 31 cm.) depending on printer selected. For a highly distinctive, professional touch, almost any type of font can be used or any logo reproduced.

The Direct Printer is an economical and simple solution for many coding applications, especially when compared to a Flexo-printer.
