Automatic and Programmable Indent Marking System for Metal Tags

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, November 18, 2000 - Introducing the Pro Point Automatic Tag Marking System, an indenting machine that automatically feeds, marks, and ejects metal tags. This stand-alone unit includes the standard Pro Point marking head and can be ordered as an option for the standard 2324 or 2342.

The unit features an adjustable magazine feeder for different size tags, illuminated marking/loading area and an integral control panel. The capacity of the magazine ranges from 90 to 225 tags, depending on the thickness of the tags.

This system will mark tags such as steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminum. The tags size should be 1 in. x 3 in. to 2 in. x 4 in. and with a thickness of .026 in. to .062 in. Units currently in the field can be retrofitted with the tag marking system. These can be done by changing the y-axis plate on the marking head assembly, however, any unit sold after the tag marker's introduction can be retrofitted without any modifications to the marking head.
