New, High Contrast, Fluorescent Marking Ink

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, February 2003 - Matthews International Corporation offers a new ink for both porous and non-porous substrates.

A new red fluorescent ink was recently developed for use with optical vision systems. This brightly colored ink, provides a distinctive, high-contrast mark on most substrates. Extremely popular within the building products industry, this ink was designed to work with our reliable DOD 5100 ink-jet system. Testing shows excellent resistance to UV light, ensuring that marks will remain permanent, even when sitting outdoors in sunshine for extended periods of time. When used in Matthews' DOD 5100 system; trademarks, date and batch codes, inspection marks, and other graphical messages can be marked at speeds up to 780 feet per minute.
