Contact Coder Model CC100 is used for intermittent cap coding operations.
The Contact Coder prints logos, product codes, expiration dates, prices,
etc. on caps, boxes, bottles, cans, glass jars, plastic bags and more.
 Pneumatically
operated, the Contact Coder is a reciprocating printer that marks products
and packages at rates up to 160 items per minute. The Contact Coder can
be integrated easily with form, fill and seal equipment, as well as with
bagging and cartoning operations to form a complete packaging system.
The Contact
Coder uses a gentle touch printhead that does not distort the rubber type
resulting in clear, crisp codes. The coding head can be mounted in any
orientation for top, bottom or side coding.
The small
coding head is ideal for integrating into existing packaging equipment.
For manual and semiautomatic marking, we offer Bench Bottom and Bench
Top Coder models that are easy to setup and operate.
For sharp,
legible codes, the Contact Coder uses precision-made Uni-Lok™ rubber
type and dies. Uni-Lok type offers quick code changes and positive locking
into the type holder. Both the type and type holder can be changed in
a matter of seconds.
Available
in a wide array of colors, the quick-drying inks provide excellent adhesion
on both porous and non-porous materials and dry quickly for immediate
product handling. Using a clean inking system, ink replacement is as simple
and quick as inserting a new cartridge. The cartridges are disposable
and can produce up to 50,000 characters based on a two-line legend. The
