An improved Stylus Indent Marking System -
the ProPoint 2331 ™ - has been introduced to the industrial
market for simple, durable marking of metals and plastics, by Matthews
International.
Major
improvements in the system include a touch-screen controller in
addition to simplification of message editing and management. A
large 4.5" x 3.5" screen permits easy file creation and
editing. Before the marking is made on the substrate, with the large
touch-screen display users are able to preview the entire message
exactly as it will look. The control unit operates via stable Windows
CE software for reliable marking in industrial environments. It
is ideally suited to permanent marking of metal and plastics up
to 50 Rockwell C for marking a 1" x 3" area with product
information, serial numbers, date, time coding and logos. Radius
marking with dot matrix or gothic fonts is standard. The system's
one compact industrial cabinet readily encloses message control,
trigger and power supply.
The
ProPoint Model 2331 complements Matthews wide range of marking and
coding systems for complete package and product identification.
